THE THIRD ANNUAL SAN FRANCISCO YOUNG PLAYWRIGHTS FESTIVAL presents a weekend showcase of plays written by San Francisco youth! The festival features four plays, selected from over 35 entries by San Francisco high schoolers and developed with the help of professional playwrights as mentors. They will be performed by professional actors from the Bay Area community. Offering insight, humor, and depth, the Third Annual San Francisco Playwrights Festival presents the brightest undiscovered talents of San Francisco's youth.

The festival features:

COLOSSIANS 3:14 by Romolo Wilkinson (SF School of the Arts)
Directed by Kate Gorman, mentored by Susan Jackson

MARY by Tanea Lunsford (SF School of the Arts)
Directed by Jessica Richards, mentored by Molly Rhodes

SEXY KNEES by Santino Garcia (SF School of the Arts)
Directed by Deborah Shaw, mentored by Christopher Chen

WITHIN THE WALL OF SAND by Kalson Chan and Benson Ma (Lowell High)
Directed by Jessica Holt, mentored by Anne Doherty


* After the Sunday show, there will be a Q&A session with the winning playwrights.

Notes
General Admission $10 in advance, $12.50 at the door

Student/TBA Members $7.50 in advance, $10 at the door. Students and TBA members MUST bring their ID's to the performance.
