Native Plant Basket Weaving Workshop Series II
In this two part series taught by Charlie Kennard, a long-time basket weaver,each participant will make a lightweight basket using several different weaves, suitable for gathering berries or holding small fruits. It may be finished with a cordage handle. Tule baskets were very commonly made in many parts of California, Oregon and Nevada, with varying "starts", weaves and rim finishes.
