Wilmington NC Top Chef Local Foods Cooking Class
Join culinary tour guide Liz Biro for a coffee tasting and morning treats at downtown coffee shops and bakeries using locally roasted coffee and serving from-scratch delights. Then, with coffees in hand, we'll visit a couple downtown Wilmington food markets before meeting up with a member of the Manna or Aubriana's restaurant kitchen team. These are among the Port City's finest restaurants, and each spot's creative American dishes are inspired by the Cape Fear region's local bounty. During a hands-on cooking lesson, including a couple of surprise ingredients we pick up on our pre-class tour, you'll not only learn cooking skills but also discover where top chefs get local produce in winter and how they source the area's best meats and seafood.
