THE COMEDY OF ERRORS
Shakespeare's joyful comedy of mistaken identity follows the fortunes of two sets of identical twins, accidentally separated at birth, and then miraculously thrown together again. In search of their lost twin brothers, Antipholus of Syracuse and his servant Dromio arrive in Ephesus, where they are mistaken for their Ephesian twin brothers. The bustling metropolis appears a place of wonderment and terror, where baffling gifts and unexplained hostilities abound. Multiple mistaken identities lead to confusion on a grand scale.
