| Description |
 This exciting event includes a live and silent auction, banquet dinner, and of course, a swing dance! Be entertained by small musical ensembles and then dance the night away with the smooth sounds of our own swing band Purple Passion.
Join us for the full evening of entertainment for $100 per person starting at 6:00pm at the Renaissance Seattle Hotel (6th and Madison). Choose from four spectacular dinner options (please select dinner preference when purchasing tickets for each guest):
- Sugar Roasted Chili Prawns in Lemon grass coconut sauce
- Filet mignon w/ Wild mushroom relish and garlic potatoes
- Chicken w/ Roasted apples and cranberry chutney
- Pear and Gorgonzola Ravioli w/ Cream Sage Sauce
If you can't join us for the full evening of events, you can still join us for the swing dance portion starting at 9:00pm for $30 per person. There will even still be opportunity to bid on some silent auction items during the dance if you would like!
Our goal is to raise money to help fund the next 10 years of the Rainbow City Band which includes:
- Add funds to our scholarship program
- Defray the band's operating expenses
- Purchase much needed instruments
As our guest, you'll sample an array of ensemble entertainment from various RCB members, while bidding on silent auction items, and then feast on the succulent offerings by Chef Erick Gonzalez of the Renaissance Seattle Hotel. This year, we'll welcome back RCB's friend and long time supporter Brian Burgoyne as the RCB auctioneer extraordinaire! We've received some generous donations and plan to see some hot wallets. Who will be the lucky bidder of a Hawaiian time share, 7-day cruise, or a spectacular night on the town?
The evening will really heat up when Purple Passion takes the stage and you take to the dance floor for our swing dance. The night doesn't have to end, as DJ Doug Whaley will keep it spinning and takes your dedications during the popular "bid-a-song" breaks.NOTE: No-one under 21 years old will be admitted.
