Join us for an evening of food and fun to support the Asian Arts Initiative's programs! Featuring a delicious 8-course Chinese dinner, silent auction with exciting gifts, and performances showcasing local artists and youth.
The Asian Arts Initiative is a community arts center grounded in the belief that the arts can provide an important political and cultural voice for the Asian American community in Philadelphia. We sponsor theater, video-making, and visual arts workshops for youth and adult artists; and performances and projects such as the "Chinatown In/flux" public art exhibition that was seen by over 100,000 residents and visitors.
The Asian Arts Initiative is currently developing a new multi-tenant arts facility that will offer a permanent home for our programs, as well as space for other organizations and individual artists. The new facility will be a vibrant civic resource that offers opportunities for creating and viewing art, and exchanging ideas and dialogue between and among individual artists, arts organizations, local neighborhood residents, and the greater Philadelphia community.
