It's time to bring back the birthday cake! What better way to say "Happy Birthday" than with a multi-layered gift you've made yourself? In this class, birthday cake devotee Amanda Lynn will teach you the fundamentals of mixing cake batter, stacking layers, and the lost art of real buttercream frosting. You'll create some classic favorites like: an old-fashioned chocolate cake with chocolate frosting and vanilla cream filling, a lemon chiffon cake layered with lemon curd filling and a classic carrot cake.
