Event
"Other Spaces," a concert by San Francisco Youth Eurythmy Group
Among the musical and speech pieces being performed are "Rhapsody in B-minor" (J. Brahms), "The Seven Sins" (Gandhi), "The Land Beneath the Well", and a humorous tale entitled "Absolutely Nothing." Eurythmy is the art of sound made visible and employs movement and color to express both spoken and musical sound. Pieces range from lyrical expressions of classical works of music, to the embodiment of spoken poetry, to the telling of fairy tales. San Francisco Youth Eurythmy Group is in its 11th season. Following its performances in San Francisco, the Group heads to Japan for its 2006 tour.
