How Permaculture can save Humanity and the Planet but not Civilization
Toby Hemenway has written Gaia's Garden-a Guide to Home-Scale Permaculture. It is the only Permaculture book written with an emphasis on the Pacific Northwest and the urban and suburban environments.  He is an articulate, engaging voice on issues of sustainability, ecological design and visioning for positive attainable change. He teaches Permaculture, consults and lectures on ecological design throughout the country.
