Violin-guitar duo Doralice unveil their new album of cinematic acoustic instrumentals, featuring everything from moody waltzes to serpentine gypsy rhythms and creaky Americana. CDs and records will be available, including custom papercut art by Bianca Levan, who will share some of her other papercut work during the show. Opening the evening will be an intimate set by cinematic folk duo Wolf & Crow.
Doralice (Dor-a-LEECE) is an instrumental acoustic duo formed in San Franciscos Mission District in 2010, writing & performing original chamber pieces inspired by film, world & new acoustic music, with elements of Americana, gypsy, Spanish & tango.
Since 2009, Wolf & Crow have been creating imagistic, narrative folk music with colorful storytelling, sweetly chilling vocal harmonies, wood folk-guitar picking, and trademark rustic slide guitar.
