National Football League Players Model For Charity at Jockstarzz Fashion Show to Benefit Kevin Everett Foundation in Conjunction With Miami Fashion Week
The Jockstarzz Fashion Show Benefitting the Kevin Everett Foundation will bring an all-star roster of National Football League (NFL) players together to tackle the runway for a one-night-only charity event and fashion show on March 29, 2008 at 10 p.m. The highly-anticipated event will serve as the grand finale of Funkshion, Miami Fashion Week, taking place in Lummus Park at 10th Street and Ocean Drive, Miami Beach. Among the athletes slated to make fashion plays is former Buffalo Bills player Kevin Everett, who sustained a life-threatening fracture and dislocation of his cervical spine in September 2007.
Making his first-ever runaway appearance since his miraculous December 2007 recovery, Everett and pro-player friends including Antwan Barnes, Baltimore Ravens; Brandon Merriweather, New England Patriots; Bryant McKinnie, Minnesota Vikings and Roscoe Parrish, Buffalo Bills will model at the Jockstarzz Fashion Show on an Astroturf-inspired catwalk, complete with football yard line markings. The event will benefit the Kevin Everett Foundation - a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the care of spinal cord injury patients. |
