Does the idea of fundraising leave you with sweaty palms? Have you ever asked yourself:
"Why fundraise from individuals?"
"How do you build a grassroots donor base?"
"What are the pros and cons of different fundraising strategies?"
Then this is the perfect workshop for YOU. We'll even practice asking for money!
As an added value, NAC will be offering eight (8) free 45-minute fundraising consultations through a partnership with AFP Advancement NW on a first-come, first-served basis. Limit one consultation per nonprofit organization. Consultations will be scheduled based on participant and consultant availability.
Trainers: Kristyn Joy, a phenomenal grassroots fundraiser with 25 years of community organizing and non-profit management, and Sarah Tran, NAC Executive Director
1 Ticket per organization (Up to 2 individuals per nonprofit organization may attend the training). A light dinner will be provided, and served started at 5:30pm.
*Scholarships: 2 scholarships are available to organizations with budgets under $100,000. Priority goes to grassroots, people of color-led nonprofits. To apply - please email Morgan Wells at mwells@nacseattle.org. Interested applicants must contact NAC by October 30th, 2017!
**Note: NAC's revised fee structure takes into account the varying levels of financial capacity at different organizations and helps to support local community-based nonprofits and organizations with much smaller budgets and limited access to growth opportunities.
