Motzah Balls & Meatballs: Stand-Up Comedy with Linda Belt and Greg Vaccariello

Lower East Side meets Little Italy in this night of stand-up comedy, kicking off the 4th annual Minneapolis Jewish Humor Festival.
Linda Belt is a New Jersey native (a comedy routine in itself). She moved to CT in 1987 where she became a suburban pillar of the community attending PTO meetings and baseball games. Linda became very tired holding up that pillar and instead holds her own as a professional stand up comic. Her humor touches on the absurdities of modern life and explores marriage, sex, parenting and social mores, in other words: any subject she feels like discussing! She has performed in clubs, comedy festivals, and for special events throughout the US and Canada, including taking stage at the Long Island Comedy Festival, the Boston Comedy Fest, and performing at The Laugh Factory (NYC) as part of the "Broads of Broadway" show and on Royal Caribbean Cruises.
Greg Vaccariello realized that he was funny in third grade. Appearing in the school play, Greg made the entire audience laugh without saying a word. To this day Greg doesn't know what he did that day, but it worked and he was hooked. The Bronx native went to high school on Long Island and then college in Oneonta, NY, eventually giving stand-up a try in 1989. Hooked again! Drawing on his personal life and his unique point of view, he has been sharing comedic stories across the country ever since. Greg has also appeared on such hit TV shows as ED, Law and Order (SVU and Criminal Intent), The King of Queens and Hope and Faith.
