La galardonada Compañía Juvenil de ProyectoTEATRO presenta el psico-drama El Paraíso de los Maniquís, un proyecto original creado y escrito por el elenco y el director Luis Armando Ordaz Gutiérrez. Esta puesta en escena transporta a la audiencia a un manicomio donde la realidad se distorsiona con las fantasías de una generación dispuesta a retar la hipocresía de la sociedad en la que vive. Once locos que han sido internados por sus enfermedades controversiales, como la peculiar Naila que sufre de múltiples personalidades culturales, o André, joven que presenta síntomas de un trastorno social de la identidad de género, emprenden una carrera interna en contra del tiempo que los forzará a tomar uno de dos caminos: arriesgar su vida y abandonar absolutamente todo lo que conocen en nombre de su individualidad, o salvarse y sumarse a la misma sociedad que los ha catalogado como locos.
El Paraíso de los Maniquís se apodera del teatro, la danza y el canto para cuestionar la robotización de nuestros niños y la inevitable sistematización de nuestras vidas. Una obra que te obligará a preguntar: ¿Qué es fantasía y que es realidad? ¿Qué se puede curar y que no? ¿Y que hay detrás de los maniquís

ProyectoTEATROs award-winning Youth Company presents El Paraíso de los Maniquís (Mannequins Paradise), an original psycho-drama written and devised by the cast and director Luis Armando Ordaz Gutiérrez. This project transports the audience to an asylum where reality is distorted with the fantasies of a generation eager to challenge the hypocritical society in which they live in. Eleven patients that have been admitted for controversial disorders like Naila and her multiple cultural personalities, or André, a young child that presents symptoms of social gender dysphoria battle an internal struggle and a race against time that will force them to ultimately take one of two paths: risk their life by abandoning everything they know in the name of their individuality, or save themselves by feeding into the same society that has labeled them insane.
El Paraíso de los Maniquís (Mannequins Paradise) manipulates theatre, song, and dance to question the robotization of children and the inevitable systematization of our lives. This play will force you to ask what is reality and what is fantasy? What can be cured and what is our essence? And whats behind the mannequins?
