To sleep no more, perchance to dream just once. Ambition begets bloodshed begets mental anguish. A psychological, disjointed, minimalist re-visioning of Shakespeare's "Macbeth" in which Lady M. lives and relives the events of that fateful night.
Featuring: Brian Crawford, Ryan Czerwonko, Jeff Kurysz, Corey Noble, Michael Steele and Kristi Webb.
the side project is thrilled to present this 80-minute re-focusing of Shakespeare's text to distill the story to its essential core: that of a couple trying to overcome a loss, and the ambition they display in order to fill that void. Developed in part at Northwestern University, this world premiere is perfectly suited to the claustrophobic confines of the side project's black box space.
"lady M." runs in rep with "Sugarward," another politically charged play with the flaws of human nature at its core.
