THE PRINCESS AND THE PEA
The Saint Mary's College Performing Arts Department will present the charming stage adaptation of the classic Hans Christian Anderson story of THE PRINCESS AND THE PEA. The story, running January 29 at 7 PM and January 30 at 4 PM, takes the fairytale and elaborates it into a full hour of children-focused entertainment. The entire production (design, building of set, acting, etc.) is done by the students enrolled in the January Term course, Children's Theatre, under the direction of story adaptor Michael Cook. Staying faithful to the Anderson text, the students will add their own imagination, theatricality, delightful character acting and beautiful sets and costumes. THE PRINCESS AND THE PEA is suitable for ages 4 to 94! All tickets are $8.
