Pascal, an ex-con and n'er do well is still reeling from the death of his daughter. Mary, the grandmother of his late child is determined to save the poor man from his own destructive behavior. But, when Rose, Pascal's childhood sweetheart shows up looking to reconnect, the house of cards built by Mary threatens to come tumbling down.
