Join us on Earth Day and celebrate the efforts of An Inconvenient Ride.

TV host and renowned photographer, Art Wolfe. will give one of his remarkable multi-media presentations featuring the behind-the-scenes adventures of his television series, "Art Wolfe's Travels to the Edge."

State Senator Joe McDermott (34-Seattle) will present proclamations from Governor Gregoire and Mayor Nickels. Master of Ceremonies is Enrique Cerna, Executive Director of Production at KCTS Television.

An Inconvenient Ride (http://inconvenientride.com/) is a 5,400 mile cross country bicycle ride by students from Seattle's Chief Sealth High School and Gatewood Elementary. These Seattle public school students are riding across the country to raise awareness of environmental programs that are making a tangible difference.

In a pioneering and collaborative effort, Sealth and Gatewood Elementary students have joined together to launch an innovative environmental program in their community that serves as a pilot project for the Green Seattle Partnership.

Help us welcome the student riders back with an official end-of-ride escort to Benaroya Hall to kick off the celebration event!

EVERY TICKET BUYS A TREE!

With every ticket sold, a tree will be purchased and planted in Seattle greenbelts and parks by students in programs supported by Seattle Public Schools, the City of Seattle and Seattle Parks and Recreation.
