--------------

Ann Gentry is a visionary, pioneer and food educator.

Bon Appetit magazine declared "Ann Gentry, the creator of Real Food Daily has taken two different California trends - vegetarian foods, and the organic seasonal cooking popularized by Alice Waters of Chez Panisse - and come up with a cuisine that is as interesting and delicious as it is healthful."

For two decades her restaurant, Real Food Daily has established itself as the leader in the green food movement.  With locations in Santa Monica, West Hollywood, and Pasadena, and a fourth outpost opening in LAX in early 2013, RFD is the premier organic vegan restaurant in the Los Angeles area.

Ann is the author of Vegan Family Meals, Real Food for Everyone and The Real Food Daily Cookbook.  Ann can be seen on The Dish Network and Verizon Fios on the Veria channel hosting her own cooking show, Naturally Delicious.  Ann has also appeared on the THE TALK, The Today Show, the Discovery Channel and various segments on the Food Network.

Ann is the executive chef to Vegetarian Times magazine where she contributes recipes and articles about healthy eating and lifestyle. Her recipes have been published in The Los Angeles Times, Veg News, Cooking Light as well as other national magazines and food industry trade publications.

Because her creations are absolute originals, Ann has appeared as a guest chef at the Canyon Ranch, Pritikin Longevity Center, Robert Mondavi Wine Center, and the Natural Foods Expo. She has also taught at the annual conference of the North American Vegetarian Society, toured Texas teaching at Central Market and inspired 350 graduate students at the World Arts & Cultures program at UCLA as well as completed a teaching turn on the "Taste of Health" cruise of the Southeastern Caribbean on a premier Italian luxury liner.
