The clinic is open beginner to advanced skaters 18 years or older. Coaches are experienced in training a wide range of skills and techniques for all levels.

Agility to Make Your Feet Swoon - This session focuses on getting comfortable in your skates, in any position! Skaters will learn how to use edges and to estops and ends with an agility playland.
Blocking Like a Boss - The session will start with blocking form and using strength over momentum to block smarter. It will also go over blocking to control your target and backwards blocking.
Don't Commit - This session focuses on high-activity level blocking.
First to Strike - This session will focus on blockers and jammers working together through offensive blocking. It works on skills needed for a legal offensive block from all directions, as well as the timing of it.
In the Beginning - This session will focus on specific jam start strategies and blocker formations within the early seconds of a jam from the pivot and jammer lines with emphasis on getting lead jammer.
One Woman Show - This session will focus on how to own the track as a single blocker. It reviews skating tools and goes the physics of the track in order to be an extremely effective single blocker.
Penalty Management - This session will focus on penalty management. It is a strategy based session on how to prioritize keeping the most blockers on the track at all times and which points in the game it is most critical.
Protect Them - Offensive blocking for initial and point-scoring passes. Distraction techniques, body positioning (screens) and blocks (clears) to make holes for your jammer. This session focuses on how to create a path for your jammer to take.
RollerBounce Guide to Jumping - This session focuses on jumping onskates. It covers a range of drills to increase your jumping strength and ends with an intro into apex jumping.
Second Pass - This session will focus on eliminating points gained by the opposing team on the scoring pass. It will go over utilizing blockers positioning and timing of the jam call off.
Shitty Situations - 2 vs. 4 on the track? Have you been isolated from your team? Opposing jammer about to hit the pack? This session focuses on strategy and timing to make the best out of the worst spots to be stuck in.
The Great Wall - This session will cover wall formation and wall protection. Skaters will learn ways to minimize opponent's progression on the track as one unit as well as keeping the jammer in the pack as long as possible.
Tornado blocking - This session will cover lateral team work hitting.
 
Parking details: Large parking lot outside of the building; tell them you are there for roller derby practice and it is free.
