The Voice: One Man's Journey Into Sex Addiction and Recovery -- Written and Performed by David Kleinberg, Directed by Mark Kenward (5-Week, 10-Night run)
The Voice is a remarkable, ground-breaking solo theater piece on sex addiction & recovery. Riveting, at times hilarious, always entertaining, the work is ultimately a powerful spiritual journey dealing with one of today's major social issues. "The Voice" traces David's path to recovery, as both he and his wife deal with the fall out of his addiction. Along the journey, David also has to deal with his life-long homophobia as he mentors a gay sex addict -- a love story between a straight and gay man that has nothing to do with sex.
POST-SHOW AUDIENCE/PANEL DIALOGUE: Saturdays March 16 and March 30: Post-show audience/panel dialogue on sex addiction. Panel includes a recovering sex addict, the partner of recovering addict, a sex addiction therapist and an ex-sex worker. Moderator steers the discussion.
