From Brookline to Broadway: An Evening With Hamilton Cast Member Nik Walker (Brookline High School Class of 2006)
Monday, June 12, 7:00 pm, in the Roberts/Dubbs Auditorium at Brookline High School, 115 Greenough Street, Brookline MA 02445. Nik Walker, BHS graduate (2006) and current "Hamilton" cast member, shares stories and insights about life in the arts, followed by an audience Q&A. Co-hosted by Kenny Kozol, K-12 Performing Arts Curriculum Coordinator for the Public Schools of Brookline. Supported by BHS FoPA, the Brookline Teen Center, and the Performing Arts Department of the Public Schools of Brookline. Free but advance tickets required. Nik Walker is a theater artist, Tarantino fanatic, Marvel/DC nerd and professional collector of talented frienenmies. Currently appearing in that Hamilton skit on Broadway, Nik's also been seen in Motown the Musical, Peter and the Starcatcher, on TV in Law and Order SVU, and regionally at La Jolla Playhouse, The Old Globe and The Denver Center, to name a few. A playwright, he is the co-creator of Company One's ARTiculation, and his pieces Whiskeyland! and Uncle Jackie are in development with Richard H Blake and Michael Balderrama of Last Call Theatricals.
