Stuck trying to calculate the moment of inertia of a built-up steel section for the ARE?

You won't want to miss renowned professor, David Thaddeus, AIA, NCARB, in Nashville. This intense 3-day, 30 hour seminar has been deemed "boot camp for structures." Leave feeling confident and prepared for all structural related questions on the ARE. This seminar helps demistify calculations, nail down concepts (with hands on models and exhibits), and makes you feel energized and ready to tackle structures!

AIA Middle Tennessee hosts David Thaddeus, AIA, NCARB, for a three-day seminar covering the structural systems division of the ARE 4.0, including general structures, lateral forces and the structural framing vignette.

Seating is limited for this popular seminar and advance registration is required. Registration closes June 9th.

Cost
Attendance is $325 for all AIA members and $395 for non-members.

Participants in the Middle TN Black Spectacles Component are able to take advantage of a discounted price of $300.

Members are required to enter their AIA number when purchasing at the member price.
The cost includes printed materials and coffee and lunch each day.

**Out of town participants are encouraged to wait until the conference is confirmed by the host organization with the minimum number of registrants before making non-refundable travel arrangements.

Friday, June 16 through Sunday, June 18, 2017 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. each day

Please bring with you to each session a pad of grid paper, a calculator, as well as colored pencils, a sharpener and/or non-bleeding pens. You will specifically need red, blue, green, purple and brown colored non-bleeding pens and/or colored pencils.
