Set in a private box at a prestigious race course, Ladies Day Out is a brand new comedy celebrating women's solidarity, independence and love of mayhem. Will this hullabaloo end in tears or joy?

With an entirely Edinburgh-based cast and crew, this hilarious play will have you howling with laughter and is guaranteed to make you dash out and spend your hard earned savings at the bookies! Don't forget to wear your fascinator!

Ladies Day Out is Philip Rainford's second play for the Leith Festival. Following the success of The Wee One in 2016, writer/performer Philip Rainford and actor/director Adam Tomkins have joined forces again to bring this brand new comedy fresh from the page and on to the stage.
