The Tualatin Valley Symphony invites you to the final concert of the 2016-2017 season. Our concert includes three works spanning more than two centuries, including a world premiere. German composer Ludwig van Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 4 in G major, Op. 58 was premiered privately in 1807, and in a public concert in 1808. Dr. Lilin Chen will be at the piano for this performance. Danish composer Carl Nielsen's Symphony No. 1 in G minor (Op. 7, FS 16) had its world premiere in 1894. American composer Arthur Breur's "Tualatin Overture" will be premiered on May 21, 2017, by the Tualatin Valley Symphony. Maestro Mark Perlman conducting.
