Performance Program
Night of the Toys, a dream-like story about a puppet that comes to life and leads a young girl to a colorful world where toys have souls and teach us life lessons. With original story, music and video by Gianluca Attanasio, from Rome, Italy.
Winter Song, weaving together dance, music, and spoken word to look at the ways different cultures celebrate the winter holiday and the universal symbols of light and renewal. Featuring Monterey's own prima ballerina, Pamela Keindl, with narration by Michael Reid, theologian currently serving as associate rector at St. Mary's by the Sea Episcopal Church.
Reels, Rhythms, & Rhymes, dances performed with live music by Flynn Cohen, bluegrass musician, composer from Boston. This piece will get feet tapping and hands clapping!
