Join Kazuko Heaton and her daughter Lauren in learning to prepare healthy and nutritious Japanese lunch boxes for children (or your spouse, or yourself)! In this workshop, you will learn some basic cooking techniques and how to assemble a cute, charming lunch box to delight its lucky recipient. You will also get to hear the story of their family, which came to Yellow Springs in the 1950s.
The event is free to Antioch students but requires a refundable $10 deposit to reserve a spot. The participation fee for non-students is $25, which includes all materials costs, including a lunch box for you to take home.
