Arizona Storytellers Dinner at Distrito
The Arizona Storytellers Project is a night of live, true stories. Storytellers are invited to prepare a 5- to 8-minute, first-person story on the theme, addressing it literally or metaphorically.
You'll hear from KJZZ's Nick Blumberg, Phoenician chef Lee Hillson and playwright Ashley Nauftle, among others.
On this night, we explore the magic of the family dinner table. Whether the table is in a home filled with relatives, or in a swanky restaurant with friends who just feel like family, it's where we pass judgments as much as we pass condiments. At the table, we come together to share food and to share of ourselves.
