The hosting band, of course is the funkiest around! Downbeat Groove is a major staple in the Mid- Michigan music scene. DBG was inspired by the musical intellect and experience of key members. This group was formed based around an idea that included a strong, sassy woman's lead vocals and a dependable and untouchable rhythm section. And that is precisely what cultivated from just one shared vision. With a full horn-line, two keyboards and Ritmo's own Mike Eyia on guitar (to add a sassy Latin feel) Downbeat Groove puts on a professional level show and gives a riveting and explosive performance each time!!!
