Seven-Card Stud
"Seven-Card Stud" by Gregg Barrios, the latest of his plays centered around the life of Tennessee Williams, gives the audience a glimpse into the life of a true gay icon. The play makes its world premiere March 3rd at the Overtime Theater. Richard David Anthony makes his directorial debut bringing Barrios script to life on the Overtime Theaters Gregg Barrios main stage. Seven-Card Stud tells the story of twin brothers Pancho and Johnny Rodriguez. Pancho is plucked from obscurity by Tennessee Williams during Williamss heyday while on a visit to south Texas. The brothers stick together through Pancho and Williams torrid affair and after his passing.
