END OF DAYS SECRET SUPPER
SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 18TH AT 5PM
Historic Oakland Cemetery, Grant Park, Atlanta
BURNAWAY invites you to join us for a special opportunity to spend an evening at Historic Oakland Cemetery. You will enjoy a secret supper among the headstones and presentations on death and the apocalypse by a cross-disciplinary panel of experts, academics, and artists.
The Lawrence is graciously providing us with an amazingly delicious three-course meal including cocktails and wine pairings designed by Chef Shane Devereux and bartender Eric Simpkins for this dinner. Known for their inventive cocktails and adventurous menu, The Lawrence is quickly becoming one of the most talked about dining destinations in Atlanta. Learn more about The Lawrence here.
Prior to the dinner, enjoy a specialty cocktail designed by The Lawrence while you enjoy a tour of the historic cemetery. Throughout the dinner we will listen to short presentations on the theme of death and the apocalypse, each followed by a question to the table and discussion. The dinner table will be designed and dressed by Susan A. Cipcic. Susan is an installation-based artist and master gardener who creates works using flora and found objects.
