Roots Hoot House Concerts kicks off 2013 in splendid fashion with the folk-pop sounds of Signature Sounds recording artists Winterpills. Begun in the Pioneer Valley region of Central Massachusetts in 2003, the 5-piece band based out of Northampton is defined by the calling cards of the male-female harmonies of Philip Price and Flora Reed to go with the band's melancholic folk pop sound. It's a lot of sound for our room, but can't think of a better way to start 2013, musically speaking. It is a BYOB/potluck show which means terrific food to go with an evening of great music.
