Build Public at Linden Tree
A sister nonprofit to for-profit residential development group BUILD, Build Public has a deep understanding of the development community as well as a strong working relationship with San Francisco's city staff and agencies. These combined with a commitment to meaningful and collaborative engagement with the communities in which they work allow Build Public to excel as a facilitator and driver of its innovative public space projects, including: creation of the nation's first Green Benefit District; conversion of three underutilized streets into vibrant public plazas; and authorship of the City of Menlo Park's acclaimed Economic Development Plan focused on innovative public space funding strategies.
