Come and enjoy a fun night of philanthropy accompanied by great music and be a part of a global fundraising effort to support victims of sex trafficking in India. "Because She is Worth It" is exactly why you should be there, but aside from the importance of raising awareness as well as financial support for the young girls and woman who are effected by this epidemic. The night will be a great time where you can enjoy light bites and refreshments including some amazing bhakti chai.
Atomic Pop's performance is sure to be the highlight of the evening. Formed by the founders of one of Seattle's favorite 80s bands Mister Miyagi, it has been widely anticipated for Atomic Pop to take the stage! Adding hits from the 90s to today, Atomic Pop is supporting this cause with its first appearance open to the general public.
Event host Heather Falkin is a passionate yoga instructor and mother of 3. Having 2 young daughters of her own she couldn't imagine not being a part of an effort to erradicate, educate and raise money for a cause that she feels can't be ignored. She has been inspired by Off the Mat Into the Worlds founders to take the gifts she's been given and use them to make a difference and she hopes the evenings festivities will inpsire its guests to do the same.
All proceeds go to Off the Mat Into the World. More information can be found on line at www.offthematintotheworld.org/global-seva-challenge.html
