RYP's Autumn Gala: Recipe to Support a Good Cause!
Ingredients:
1 event ticket (purchased through Brown Paper Tickets)
1 classy outfit
1 live band (The Objections)
2-3 servings of international cuisine (provided by Rob's Catering)
Drinks* (add as desired for those over 21)
1-5 raffle tickets (optional)
A pinch of spice, a dollop of fun
Directions:
Step 1: Throw on your fancy dress clothes, grab some friends, and head to First English Lutheran Church
Step 2: Enjoy dinner inspired by RYP Cooks, a collection of recipes created by RYP staff, students, and volunteers
Step 3: Learn more about a great organization
Step 4: Mix it up on the dance floor to the tunes of rock classics
Step 5: Buy a cook book or raffle ticket, and support RYP's continued 2012-2013 programming!
Step 6: Repeat next year
Spice up your social calendar by joining RYP for a night of international cuisine, live music, dancing, and more! On November 30th, RYP will release its first cookbook entitled RYP Cooks!, a cookbook created by students of the Upton neighborhood after-school program! This collection contains authentic recipes from 18 different countries and includes exotic dishes like Zaalouk and Kurdish Cota as well as traditional American favorites.
The evening will feature an international buffet inspired by recipes from the cookbook courtesy of Rob's Catering, live music by The Objections, dancing, an opportunity to purchase cookbooks, raffled prizes from local businesses, and a chance to meet some of RYP's students!
All profits will fund RYP's after-school programing.
