with Wonder Dave
musical guest tba
& your hosts Loren Kraut & Morgan.
Liz Grant has opened for Dana Carvey, George Lopez and even got the chance to perform with Robin Williams on Comedy Day. She was a writer for George Carlin'slaugh.com, a winner of The Brian Regan Impression Contest and is a regular guest on KGO's Headliners on Headlines with Brian Copeland.
Liz's highly rated comedy show about her two divorces, Deja Wince: Lessons From A Failed Relationship Expert ran for 23 weeks in San Francisco.
Chris Burns walks onto the stage with confidence and an attitude. She makes subtle changes in her voice, sounding masculine one minute and childlike the next, and then all breathyand with each switch, she gets funnier.
"I'm just gonna take a moment to get centered here. I like to do some affirmations before I start. So everybody try to find that sacred place within you."
She takes a deep breath and in a calm soothing voice, with her eyes closed, she intones: "Without me bringing the joy of laughter the audience is nothing.
Wonder Dave is a writer and performer from Minneapolis MN. He's toured the country performing at poetry venues, schools, cabarets, science fiction conventions, burlesque shows and bowling alleys. He was the recipient of the Jerome Foundation's Verve grant for spoken word artists in 2007. In 2010 Dave, as part of the Minneapolis Slam Team, appeared on the Group Piece Finals stage at the National Poetry Slam. In 2011 he was part of the top 20 semi-finalist Berkeley California slam team.
Loren Kraut won "Funniest Person in Downtown Berkeley" at Marga's Funny Mondays in January 2011. She was also a finalist in the Battle of the Bay Comedy Competition 2007 and 2009, & appeared on many radio shows.
Some say that the truth is hard to find, but not when Morgan is on stage. As a vivacious transgender comedian, Morgan has been described as "a transgender super hero," by LA Weekly. She may not have a cape or be able to fly, but this transgender avenger has traveled from one end of the country to the other, telling her story on any stage with a mic, including Austin Texas's Bed Post Confessions, numerous Bay Area Bawdy Storytelling Shows, The Manhattan and L.A Risk Show, and even as Headliner of the Vallejo Pride Festival
