We are pleased to report that we have received more than 50 contributions of fine art pieces from artists in the region, including Concrete, Marblemount, Sedro-Woolley, Bellingham, Mount Vernon, and even Snohomish and Seattle. The variety and quality of artwork is truly amazing. Many of the contributing artists have won awards and have had their work selected for the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival posters, and of course all have exhibited in galleries in the region.
We are still in communication with artists who are contributing their work, but some of the artists who have already provided works include John Ebner, Jacqueline DeGavia, Beki Killorin, Louise Magno, Bryce Mann, Steve Murray, Adrienne Smith, Chuck Poupart, Damian Vines, Lyle Silver and Rick Williams, among several others.
Most of the pieces are paintings and photographs, both as originals and prints (and even a stunning etching), but also include dimensional art such as stained glass, pottery, carvings, and a large sculpture - quite an impressive array!
Be sure that you don't miss out on this one-of-a-kind opportunity to acquire truly unique, "home-grown", artwork by award-winning artists, and support a worthy cause at the same time.
The event also features hors d'oeuvres provided by local restaurants, locally-produced wines, and musical entertainment by local talent.
