ABOUT COMEDY OF ERRORS:
The Comedy of Errors tells the story of two sets of identical twins that were accidentally separated at birth. Antipholus of Syracuse and his servant Dromio arrive in the town of Ephesus, which turns out to be the home of their twin brothers, a master and servant who are also called Antipholus and Dromio. A wild ride of comedy and mistaken identity ensues when the visiting folk of Syracuse are mistaken by the creditors, rulers, and, most dangerous of all, the wives of their long-lost twins!

One of Shakespeares earliest and fast-paced plays, The Comedy of Errors, derives much of its humor from physical, slapstick comedy, sight gags, word play, puns and mistaken identities. To this end, Dram Tree Shakespeare's production, directed by Philadelphia based director Kathryn MacMillan, will take on a Vaudevillian feel and feature an ensemble of performers who will do more than just act!
