LISA - by Anna Smith - Winterfest Theater Festival Competition 2017
Based on a true story, 6-year-old, Lisa, witnesses her mother being brutally abused by her father. When concerned community members finally reach out, it could be too late. Watch the cycle of abuse unravel in a society in which resources are unknown to victims, there is limited therapy for child witnesses, and virtually no counseling for abusers.
