WHO KILLED WOODY ALLEN?
L-Town Productions celebrates the tenth anniversary of the hit Off Broadway comedy, WHO KILLED WOODY ALLEN? with a special engagement at The Triad as part of the New York Comedy Festival.
WHO KILLED WOODY ALLEN?, which ran for three smash years Off Broadway and for a limited engagement in Los Angeles, supposes that Woody Allen has been murdered and that a group of Woody's "celebrity friends" (Alan Alda, Diane Keaton, Christopher Walken, among others) are all suspects. Set at Woody's fictional memorial service, the play is a biting satire of our celebrity saturated culture, award shows and murder mysteries. It's also a celebration of the life and career of Woody Allen, sort of
Christopher Wisner (playing Billy Crystal), Peter Loureiro (Christopher Walken), Jillann Dugan (Diane Keaton) and Jon Shaver (The Detective), all reprise their roles and lead an ensemble cast of New York's hottest actors and comedians.
WHO KILLED WOODY ALLEN? is written by Dan Callahan, Brendan Connor and Tom Dunn.
The show is directed by Tom Dunn.
