Film tells the story of an obscure episode from the life of Julia Brystiger, Colonel of the Polish Office of Public Security, a criminal of the Stalinist period. Her extreme cruelty in torturing prisoners during interrogations earned her the moniker Bloody Luna. At the beginning of the 1960s she came to the Institute for the Blind in Laski near Warsaw where the Catholic Primate of Poland, Cardinal Stefan Wyszyski frequently visited. His imprisonment in the years of 1953-1956 was supervised by none other than Julia Brystiger. During a difficult and tempestuous conversation with the Primate, Brystiger reveals that she rejects the communist ideology, asks for her crimes to be forgiven, and for help in finding God
