The Path of Compassion & Wisdom: Celebrating Our Fullness In Uncertain Times 3rd- 5th Feb 2017
A retreat for people of Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) backgrounds/ People of Colour: those who come from African, Caribbean, South, Central, West, East Asian and Middle Eastern backgrounds, as well as Indigenous and mixed-race people of North, Central and South America, Australia, New Zealand and mixed racial heritages. New and experienced practitioners are welcome.

We are delighted to offer another Buddhist mindfulness retreat by Kaira Jewel.  In this retreat, we will learn and practice tools for self-care and building community, for nourishing joy and healing our pain so that we can sustain inner and outer transformation for the long-haul. There will be periods of sitting and walking meditation, daily dharma talks, mindful meals shared in silence, group sharing, morning Qi Gong and InterPlay  a fun and creative improvisational, body wisdom practice.

We gather together to take refuge in a community dedicated to peace and healing for ourselves and for the world. We share the inspiration of the peaceful and transformative tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh and bring this inspiration alive through our practice of meditation, mindful walking, eating, noble silence and sharing Dharma wisdom in discussions about our experiences as people of BAME backgrounds in the UK.
