ABAKUA Afro-Latin Dance Company Fall Dance Series
From Friday October 26th to Saturday October 27th, 2012, come experience edgy, Afro-Latin Dance choreography from celebrated choreographer and noted performer,
Frankie Martinez.
New York Mambo, Bugalu & Afro-Caribbean dance merge in this 2-hour Contemporary, Afro-Latin Dance performance series. The event will feature the world premiere of the Frankie's newest work "Lost Battalion" amongst two other pieces from ABAKUA's repertoire.
ABAKUA Afro-Latin Dance Company has been featured on Good Morning America, Telemundo and PBS as well as performed at prominent dance festivals such as Lincoln Center Out of Doors, SummerStage and Jacob's Pillow.
ABAKUÁ Afro-Latin Dance Company, 501 (c) 3 advances the art of Afro-Latin dance worldwide as a legitimate and established
performance art form. Through the avenues of performance, presence, and education, ABAKUÁ Afro-Latin Dance Company cultivates interest and talent in future generations in the art of Afro-Latin dancing.
