URINETOWN
The Newington Children's Theatre Company is proud to present one of the most uproariously funny musicals in recent years, URINETOWN, October 26-28 at the NCTC Performing Arts Theatre located at 743 North Mountain Road in Newington, CT. URINETOWN is a hilarious tale of greed, corruption, love, and revolution in a time when water is worth its weight in gold. In a Gotham-like city, a terrible water shortage, caused by a 20-year drought, has led to a government-enforced ban on private toilets. The citizens must use public amenities, regulated by a single malevolent company that profits by charging admission for one of humanity's most basic needs. Amid the people, a hero decides he's had enough, and plans a revolution to lead them all to freedom!
URINETOWN is written by Greg Kotis, with music by Mark Hollmann, and lyrics by Hollmann and Kotis, and will be directed by NCTC Alum, CHRISTA PIZZOFERRATO, choreographed by NCTC Alum, JESSIE SATTLER, and musically directed by SARAH LAURENZANO. Performances are October 26-28, Friday and Saturday at 7:00pm, Saturday at 2:00pm and Sunday at 1:30pm. Please note that online ticket sales have ended for Friday, October 26. Please call the Box Office at 860.666.NCTC to check availability. Thanks
