This courageous journey of survival and hope, through two of history's most notorious death camps- AUSCHWITZ and DACHAU, to the shores of the United States and the embrace of the American Dream, Janka is adapted from a sixty page hand written letter describing the events following the Nazis' interment of Romanian Jews in 1944. Janka's deeply personal, moving and often humorous account is a testimony to her love of life and will to survive.
Produced Off Broadway and around the world,Janka stars Janice Noga as Janka, and was beautifully written by Oscar Speace.
