Booksmith Presents: Bookswap with Kate Shatz
Rad Women Worldwide, the second
installment in Local Treasure Kate Schatzs brilliant Rad Women series, is finally here, and were all fired up about how rad women are. Schatzs
newest celebrates 40 women from around the world--graffiti artists, poets,
activists, scientists--and tells their
stories alongside super cool paper-cut illustrations by Miriam Klein Stahl.
Youll have so many new (s)heroes.
Bring a book about a rad woman. Youll hang out in small groups, and talk about why you love your book. At the end, you'll swap it for someone else's favorite, and leave with a whole new reading list.
