Winter Schedule for Magic Bus: Sept 2012-April 2013
The Magic Bus is a year-round event but the schedule changes seasonally.
Travel back to the 1960s with the Mobile Time Machine!
MAGIC BUS by Antenna Theater the creators of the world famous Alcatraz Audio Tour & TeacherBus.
The Magic Bus blends sightseeing, film, and theater for a two hour tour that traces contemporary San Franciscan culture back to its 1960s roots. Large screens roll down over the bus windows, revealing documentary footage of the 60s. As the video plays inside the bus, oral histories and classic tunes give splashes of psychedelic color to each passing landmark as the bus travels through North Beach, Haight-Ashbury, Golden Gate Park, and Chinatown. The trip includes sights such as the City Lights bookstore and the Conservatory of Flowers. It sheds light on the bands, beatniks, hippies, and the conflicts that lent the area its distinct flavor. Singing along and dressing in brightly colored attire for this timewarping tour is optional & encouraged! More info at www.MagicBusSF.com

Tours embark from the GEARY Street side of Union Square across from Macy's near Powell.
Through Sept. 30th: Tuesdays through Fridays at 10AM and 2:30PM, Saturdays at 10AM, 12:30PM and 3PM.
Sept 30th-April 30th 2013: Fridays and Saturdays 10AM & 12:30PM
