A Symposium on Cultural Diversity and Innovation
Who are the innovators among culturally diverse arts groups and what can we learn from their practices?
Boca del Lupo gathers diverse artists from all disciplines, of local and national significance, to discuss their work; identifying the central questions driving key works reveals their individual perspectives that led them to become innovators. Based on the symposium model of The Creative Time Summit, NYC, presentations and moderated discussions will be followed up by Open Space conversations, a form that encourages all participants to engage in honest and inspired dialogue.
The list of speakers for the symposium are: Romeo Cardilo, Marie Clements, Meeru Dhalwala, Jay Hirabayashi, Janet Lumb, Yvette Nolan, Mina Shum, Gurpreet Sian, Alvin Erasga Tolentino & Dennis Gupa, Connie Watts, Maiko Yamamoto and Jean Yoon
For up-to-date info on the event please visit us on our site: www.bocadellupo.com or facebook: http://www.facebook.com/bocadellupo
The symposium will take place at The Roundhouse Community Centre.
There will be a FREE event on September 28th beginning at 5pm.
Snacks and Lunch will be provided during the Symposium on the 29th. The day will end with another discussion with cash bar and nibbles.
