Kansas City's Folk Arts Alliance

Our mission is the promotion of progressive cultural events in order to:

Educate ourselves and our community regarding social concerns,

Encourage people to create their own culture, and

Showcase artists and materials relevant to our concerns that would otherwise not have a venue.

CrossCurrents carries out its mission through councils which focus on their areas of interest, including Music, Theater, Women in the arts, Songwriting and Dance.
