Skirmish For Safety
In a historically male dominated hobby we feel it is our duty to act as allies and active participants in the prevention of interpersonal violence. On that note this events proceeds are going to support The Center Against Domestic Violence for the second year running.
The Center Against Domestic Violence works toward a society free of violence and abuse. The Center leads the way by offering education and prevention programs and promoting the well-being and economic independence of survivors of abuse.
Dedicated to cultivating a society free from abuse, the Center Against Domestic Violence drives cultural change through education and intervention.
Their groundbreaking programs for high school, middle school and elementary school students teach young people how to identify and avoid domestic violence so they can develop healthy relationships.
The individualized services provided by their shelters strive to give residents the tools they need to break the pattern of domestic violence and start life anew.
Format:
75 point Steamroller 2016
60 minute Death Clock
5 rounds maximum
Army List Variant: Baseline (One or Two lists, no D&C)
Painting Variant: Baseline (Painted armies are vastly preferred but not required)
Number of Rounds: Baseline (One player undefeated or after five rounds).
Victory Variant: Baseline (win by assassination, scenario, control points tiebreaker, army points remaining tiebreaker, army points destroyed tiebreaker).
Final Standing Variant: Control Point Scoring (Tournament points, control points, army points destroyed, strength of schedule).

09:00 - 10:00 Registration
10:00 - 10:10 Round One pairings and setup.
10:10 - 12:10 Round One
12:10 - 12:20 Round Two pairings and setup.
12:20 - 2:20 Round Two
2:20 - 3:00 Lunch, Round Three pairings and setup.
3:00 - 5:00 Round Three
5:00 - 5:10 Round Four pairings and setup.
5:10 - 7:10 Round Four
7:10 - 7:20 Round Five pairings and setup
7:20 - 9:20 Round Five
9:30 Closing Ceremonies and Raffle Draw
In the event that less rounds are needed to determine an undefeated player, the closing ceremonies and raffle draw will be accelerated.
To help facilitate a smooth start to the tournament please come to the event with your lists prepared to be turned in.
